I'm in bewilderment when it comes to this one term. Is beauty really in the eye of the beholder? Is it something tangible or untangible? Is it something that can be seen with the naked eye? Or a sort of presence that is just felt? I often feel that sometimes many people who are beautiful people are overlooked because society has a definition of beauty that regularly doesn't match many peoples opininons. The blonde hair and blue eyed all american girl with curves that scream 'woman'. I am an american and I am a girl but I am also asian. I have black hair with black eyes. But you must also take into account that I have died my hair to auburn and gotten green contacts to make myself beautiful here. To make sure that I belong. But it's all in vain because I will never be that all american beauty that society has established. Just like Britney Spears, I could never in my entire like look anything like that girl.
