ndslotesse's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Music Dear Diary, I am obsessed with a certain song right now, and I hope to God I won't get over it and find it boring within a few weeks (like usual). It's the way the song flows, the laid-back, mellow tune that gets me intwined everytime. This song has been on repeat for the past few days on my computer, it's got me hooked and I could just sit here for hours just listening to it. In my one of my previous entries, I'm pretty sure, I stated that I listen to Rock now and that I pay attention to lyrics more (which is true) but I still find myself with that affinity with just the way it sounds. A song can be beautiful with enticing lyrics, but to get me hooked it has to just...sound good. It has to please my ears. I'm not sure if anyone feels the same way I do about music, 'cause a lot of people just like it for the lyrics or they are just listening to some pop music 'cause "it's the thing to do" or whatever. Maybe my affinity for just the way music sounds is a possible reason why I'm still enamored with Classical Music. I love Pyotr Tchaikovsky work, he is amazing. All of his music is very emotional, too emotional, in fact, that some critics didn't like it much. But it still has the alluring something that could make me listen to him for hours. ::SIGH:: "It seems to me that maybe, it pretty much always means no. So don't tell me you might just let it go. And often times we're lazy, it seems to stand in my. 'Cause no one, no, not one, likes to be let down." I can't get it out of my head, so beautiful. I'm nto sure if I could ever get sick of it (hopefully not) it goes straight to my heart. It really does, I'm not joking, and screw me over 'cause that line was so damn cliche. Linkin Park will always be my favorite band I love the way they express themselves, the can put amazing lyrics together PLUS they sound is unforgettable. But you have to admit, they do always sound angry. I don't mind, I love it. But Jack Johnson's music is so mellow and laid-back...it makes me happy. It puts me a in a good mood, so that's good right?
