Dreams Vs. Wishes

Dear Diary,

How goes it? It's almost noon and I'm still in my pajamas on a beautiful, clear saturday morning. I have no plans for today just to sit around and to do whatever comes up.

Wow, I am so boring. But, that's okay. No ones going to change that, not even me. Even though, it is...it is, all up to me if I wanted to change something about myself, that I don't admire. But, like I always say, I have motives but no drive.

Hm, that's just peachy keen. But, now I am rambling on and on about nothing, once more.

I'm listening to "His eye is on the Sparrow", which is a beautiful song. I think it's...amazing.

The sky is blue, and the sun is shining brightly outside. But, the only way I can tell is through the blinds on my windows. I haven't even once looked outside. I woke up late and now I'm wishing I was still dreaming. Daydreaming is okay, but it makes you realize that it's all idealistic, hopeless, and fruitless. But, dreaming while your sleeping is the best, or the closest you can get to your fantasies. Well, first of all, because when your dreaming sometimes you forget that it's not real, and you keep having the great time that you wish you could experience in reality.

Last year, in 8th grade, I had an arguement with my old best-friend. We were argueing what was the difference between dreams and wishes. I said there was a huge difference, but she disagreed and said they were similiar, exactly. Which, is impossible. But, I have to admit it might just be a matter of opinion. But! I believe that dreams are somewhat like goals, something you strive for, something you aim for. But, Wishes are fantasies, an idea you wished was true. There's a difference and there always will be. I can tell.

I wish all the time, but I dream too...just not enough. Motives but no Drive.

With care,
Mayms
